Sunday Night TV Line Up - Simpsons, Once, The Good Wife, Madam Secretary

Over the past few years, Sunday night has become an extremely popular and competitive night for tv shows. People are calling this the "Golden Age of TV" and I have to agree with this label. The ratings for new and returning shows have been doing very well. Some of the best shows are now on Sunday nights, with many people, including myself having to line up my DVR to tape multiple shows at once. As far as I'm concerned, if the show is scripted then I'm on board to give it a shot. I'm tired of reality shows. They have no substance and have become boring to watch.

According to TV Guide, these are the ratings for Sunday 9/28 night's TV Shows:

8pm
CBS: Madam Secretary 12.7 million viewers (1.4 demo rating)

ABC: Once Upon a Time 9.3 million (3.4)
Fox: The Simpsons 8.5 million (3.9); Brooklyn Nine-Nine 5.5 million (2.6)
NBC: Sunday Night Football 19.9 million (7.6) [8-11 p.m.]

9 p.m.
CBS: The Good Wife 11.2 million (1.3)
ABC: Resurrection 7.6 million (2.2)
Fox: Family Guy 8.4 million (4.5) [9-10 p.m.]

10 p.m.
CBS: CSI 9.7 million (1.4)
ABC: Revenge 5.3 million (1.4)

My picks for Sunday night line up are the following:
7:30 p.m.
Watch Bob's Burgers

8 p.m.
Watch the Simpsons and Brooklyn Nine-Nine WHILE DVRing Madam Secretary. I have to put the drama on the DVR because honestly it's hard to watch captivating drama with commercials. Every time there is a commercial break, it takes me out of the moment.

9 p.m.
The Good Wife - watch while taping Resurrection on my DVR.

10 p.m.
DVR Revenge while watching Madam Secretary on my DVR

This leaves me with the The Good Wife to watch on my DVR the next day! Great cure for the Monday blues!
