Not Happy with Vampire Diaries This Season Grrr

I'm going to take a second to rant about Vampire Diaries. It seems like the bad guys are always winning on the Vampire Diaries and nobody good ever catches a break or when they DO catch a break there is some awful repercussion for doing so. They've killed off a record number of characters and brought back a record amount of characters. You never know if someone is really dead. Most of them come back. I feel like the writers have run out of ideas and there have been some serious plot holes this season. For one thing,  I don't understand how no one is aware Katherine is still alive! Bonnie saw her when she died for two seconds.. SO Catherine would have to pass through her to get to the other side and she didn't. Also they seemed to be revisiting the Damon gone bad plot AGAIN and it's getting kind of old. Same with Katherine. I don't like this whole thing where they take good characters and turn them bad. First it was Damon (OK he was bad from the beginning), but then we saw Damon change and become better (or so we thought). Then it was Stefan. He was bad for a season and then he finally came back to being good. Then it was Elena. They turned her bad for a season. I think they should keep the bad guys bad and the good guys good. It's just getting redundant. I'm pretty happy with the Originals. I hope they keep that show on the same level it is right now because in my opinion it's ten times better.

Is "Revenge" Losing It's Point?

I keeping looking forward to Sunday night but then I realize that Revenge is on hiatus. I don't understand why the producers decided to take this rather long winter break. They already have sufficient viewers on the edge of their seats anticipating the upcoming episode each and every week. So why would the network make the viewers hold on until March for another episode?  You would think people would quickly get sick and tired of this all waiting around (zzzz)  and move on to another show. Anyway, after watching the last episode before the break, I feel like this show has unquestionably taken a turn for the worse. (spoilers ahead) I mean they left us implying that Emily had a blackout and slept with Conrad. Seriously? We know she had a head injury but why does Emily continue to have all these blackouts? I just don't like the way in which they turned Emily into this fragile girl. She was badass when the show first started. Her list and the pictures she was making progress by crossing off people that she was targeting for her vengeance. I thought the whole intention of the her being in the Hamptons is for her to always be one step ahead of the Greysons. It is much more rewarding to the viewers for us to see Emily actually carry out her vendetta. Unfortunately the writers have completely turned her in the opposite direction. Now she's just a victim that has accomplished nothing in her quest for revenge.  One might think that after planning this lengthy plot, she would have achieved something but she has accomplished  practically nothing. I hope that when the show returns in March, we get the old Emily back and things start to turn to her favor.

The Following Season 2

I just watched the first two episodes of the Following season 2. I really enjoy this show. The two new twin male characters (both played by Sam Underwood) are a great addition. There definitely is something very poetic about them along with way they behave. I really hope that the writers didn't base the first season off the interpretations of Edgar Allen Poe's writings. He is actually my favorite author and even though he was a brilliant literary artist in the ominous sense, he was above and beyond that! The writers are amazing and so I'm guessing they have a firm interest in Psychology.
